HYPEX reported on Nov 4, 2026 that dedicated Pirate Shop Power Hours are coming later this season, with community coverage citing a roughly 400% token boost. Epic has not confirmed or scheduled them; a single community report claims an all-day session on November 19 — unverified.
What are Treasure Hours?
Treasure Hours are Epic's official weekly event windows for the Treasure Hunters pirate season: two two-hour sessions on announced Saturdays where treasure odds are boosted and every match starts with free gear. They were announced via Epic's @FortniteStatus account (first run November 7, 2026), and the season's weekly rhythm is reported as Saturday Treasure Hours, Sunday Captain's Days and Mastery Mondays.
Spelling note: players search this as “treasure hours fortnite”, “treasure hour fortnite” (singular) and “fortnite treasure hours” — all the same windows. Don't confuse them with Treasure Hunters, the season itself: the season is the month-long event, Treasure Hours are its weekly peak windows. Season overview lives here.

Boosted rewards: what you actually get
Epic's official wording says treasure odds are boosted during the windows, and the first run gave every player free starting gear. The more specific numbers below come from independent coverage citing Epic's announcement — each carries its source grade:
- Free start items — official. Every match during the first Treasure Hours started with A$AP Rocky's Shock Rocket and a Self-Revive Device (Epic's announcement, quoted by Vice). SOURCE
- Pirate Shop Access Token boost — media-reported (two independent sources). The November 7 run reported 1.5× in the first session, 2× in the second — about 1 in 91,667 per chest, then 1 in 68,750 per chest (Vice and the piratetoken.net tracker, both citing Epic's announcement). Token-specific breakdown: token power hour page.
- Weekly Gold Outfit boost — media-reported (same two sources). 7.5× in the first session, 10× in the second — about 1 in 156,250 per chest at 10×.
- Fortune Sprites — media-reported. Reported to appear more often during the windows.
- Weekly Vehicle & Decal 10× — community-reported (single source). Listed by the piratetoken.net tracker only; treat as unconfirmed until a second source or Epic's post shows it.

How to join a Treasure Hours session
- Be in-game during the window. No signup, no ticket — the boosts apply to normal matches during the session. All windows are announced in Eastern Time (ET); the first run used 2–4 PM and 9–11 PM ET.
- Convert the time before the day. The windows are short — work out your local time in advance (the schedule card above shows the ET windows; Epic posts exact times a few days ahead).
- Play like you're hunting chests. Boosted odds multiply what your match would find anyway — high-density chest routes and a full squad make the boost count. The shop token hunting guide covers route principles.
- Watch for the token-specific power hour. A dedicated Pirate Shop boost is reported (not yet scheduled) for later this season — if Epic announces it, it becomes the season's highest-value window. Details and status here.
