How Sky Drill works

One answer, 25 secondsEach round deals five prompts — name a country, a US state, a capital. Type one answer before the clock drains. No hints, no take-backs.

Rarity is altitudeEvery valid answer has a rarity tier: Launchpad answers score +10, Cloud Deck +30, Stratosphere +60, Low Orbit +85, Escape Velocity +100. Altitude is score — 100 points lifts you 10 kilometers.

Daily is shared, endless is yoursThe daily launch deals the same five prompts to everyone, once per pack per day. Endless mode shuffles the whole bank without repeats, as long as you want to fly.

Judging you can trustAnswers are judged against a fixed word list with common aliases — no AI, no hunches. If it is on the list, it counts; if it is not, it does not. Same list, every player, every day.

Is Sky Drill really free?

Yes — every mode, every pack, no account, no paywall. It is our own game and our own prompt bank, and it stays free.

Is this Cosmillion? Or its All Access mode?

No. Cosmillion is the official daily game played on cosmillion.com, and its All Access unlock (unlimited launches, archive, themed packs) is their paid product. Sky Drill is our independent take on the rarest-answer genre — the scoring idea is a shared game mechanic, but our prompts, judging, themes and tiers are original. We are not affiliated with Cosmillion or cosmillion.com.

How is this different from the official daily game?

The official Cosmillion launch deals seven prompts once a day and scores you against everyone else's picks that day. Sky Drill deals five prompts a round with a fixed judging list — no crowd, no waiting, as many rounds as you want. Practice the instinct here; fly the real board at cosmillion.com.

Can I practice more than once a day?

Yes — that is what Endless mode is for. The daily launch is once per pack per day (everyone gets the same five prompts); Endless deals new rounds without repeating prompts until the bank is exhausted.

What if my correct answer is judged wrong?

Judging is a fixed word list with common aliases, so borderline spellings (Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, UK vs United Kingdom) are covered. The full list ships with each pack and a validation script guards it — the same answer always gets the same verdict.
