NATO Countries
NATO's roster keeps growing, and each expansion adds small states that most players simply never type. In military-alliance prompts the founding flags are free — the newer Baltic and Balkan entries are the dive-winners.

Traps & near-misses
- Austria and Switzerland are neutral — classic invalid guesses.
- Ireland is not in NATO despite its EU membership.
- North Macedonia joined in 2020 under its new name — the old name is a near-miss.
How this helps in the dive
The alliance prompt rewards recency: the 2004 Baltic accession and later Balkan joins are the picks that separate dives. Watch the near-misses — some European neutrals are permanently tempting and permanently invalid.
