Countries in Africa
Africa has more UN members than any other continent, and in rarity games it is the deepest continent on the board: everyone opens with Egypt or South Africa, while half the list goes untyped for whole weeks.

Traps & near-misses
- Western Sahara is not a UN member — it is not a valid answer in the dive.
- South Sudan is the newest African state (2011) and one of the most-forgotten valid answers.
- Côte d’Ivoire — typing “Ivory Coast” is a common near-miss; use the accent spelling.
How this helps in the dive
Africa prompts punish reflex answers. The northern tier is common knowledge; the West and East African strips are where dives are won — several of these sit in our top rarity band and outscore the reflex picks by ten times.
